Story[]
Forbidden Siren[]
Like the old building it has a hidden basement, used by the Miyatas to hide the village's dark side, where stray Shibito and those who try to expose the village's secrets are imprisoned.[1]
Opened in 1927, grew rapidly as a designated Japanese military hospital, backed by the Kajiro family. Inside the hospital is an isolation room that seems to have been used for confinement, and a hidden basement, some of the odd things that make it seem unlike a normal hospital The building has two floors with a ward on each. Built around a courtyard, it is possible to reach each ward without leaving the facility. Since Shiro Miyata was raised around the new building rather than this one, this is the first time he has been inside it. The new building also has a hidden basement, disguising the town's darker side.[2]
The new Miyata Clinic is not featured in the game, and is only mentioned in Chapter 3 of Strange Tales of Hanuda. As a child, Shiro Miyata steals the key to the basement, constantly kept locked and forbidden for anyone to enter. There he finds Namiko Yoshikawa, now a dog Shibito, chained up in one of the confinement rooms. He picks up a scalpel, but what happens next is unknown.
